The Christmas Markets opened this week in Bremen. We took a streetcar down to the Old Town (takes about 20 minutes). They had a ceremony and sang songs at the local cathedral to kick off the month-long event. There were many food booths as well as handwork shops. Lots of places selling brats.
We bought a pretzel with cinnamon that was very good. We also tried some hot chocolate with whipped cream. They also have several rides for the children. We saw a Ferris wheel, a merry go round and a scramble ride.
